Description

“Sunday afternoons are for the little secrets between two kids that no one else will ever know.”

Childhood does not announce itself as something sacred while it is happening. It moves quietly, disguised as routine, as afternoons that feel endless, as laughter that carries without weight. This painting gathers one of those moments, where two children exist in a world small enough to feel entirely their own. Inspired by the artist and her younger sister, it holds the warmth of sunlit afternoons and the hush of shared whispers, the kind that feel important even when they are not. Looking back, it became clear that nothing about it was ordinary. It was a language of closeness, spoken without having to try.
