What If?

To wonder what could have been if fear hadn’t held us back is a thought that would keep me up at night. Regret lingers in the quiet moments, making us question what we might have done or who we could have become, if only we had taken the leap of faith sooner. In choosing motherhood over a career, she discovered a depth of love and sacrifice she hadn’t known was possible, and grew to love the path she chose. Like a bear, she protects, nurtures, and carries more than she ever shows. She is, and has always been, my mother.
